The GLASS enclosures must be used for semi-aquatic species. We recommend if you purchase a Wooden Melamine enclosure that you use a small bead of silicone around all the timber joins to stop water getting into the gaps and swelling the timber.

WOODEN enclosures are much better at holding temperature as heat escapes through glass quicker than wood. In regard to price, tanks made from either glass or melamine are about the same.
